SOMERSET. Inq. Tuesday after St. Peter ad Vincula, 17 Edward II.

Nyweton Forester. Two parts of a messuage, with a moiety of a mill, rents &c. held of the king in chief by service of 1/8 knight’s fee.
The office of forester of the whole forest of co. Somerset, held in fee and by inheritance of the king in chief by grand serjeanty, and by service of rendering 12s. 6d. at the king’s exchequer yearly.
Pederton. 6a. land and 7a. meadow, held of John de Erlee by service of rendering 8a. yearly.
Richard his son, aged 21 and more, is his next heir.
